We are PlantsEra Naturescapes re-creating Nature’s beauty just the way it is by adding a hint of greenery and colors of blooms with a touch of water element to create blissful haven at just a step out of your doorsteps.We follow regenerative landscaping methods to go a step above sustainable practices, without altering much of the existing landscape. Hence, we call it “Naturescapes.”

About me & How it all started?

I am a Nature enthusiast and I am grateful for having lived most part of my life dwelling in the bliss of Mother Nature, in the beautiful hills of the Nilgiris as Her own child. I am still cherishing the memories and the learnings I was gifted with as a child.I spent most of my childhood days alongside the enchantingly beautiful streams amidst the tea gardens of the blue mountains just gazing at the wavy curves of flowing water gushing against the boulders.
My legs wouldn’t stop bouncing and hands waving at the colorful wild blooms forming a lace border of the milky streams with glitters of butterflies, listening to the rhythm of Nature. I now regret to have awakened the crabs while I moved the pebbles. Awe! How can I miss the lakes, ponds, and the woods. I want to re-create that beauty everywhere for all the humankind to relish and relive.
When I moved to the city for my career, got lost in city life for quite some years. After almost a decade, it was when the bulbuls nested in our work area, watching and capturing those blissful moments extended my connection with nature once again through bird watching through the grill, slowly realizing and regaining my true nature.I have a big dream of creating 100s of acres of lush green forests, a project to make clean cities without any garbage piles alongside the roads,Project Eco homes, and a very big project for kids. I also want to promote Nature Learning by which kids can benefit and learn from Nature.
PlantsEra Naturescapes was founded to bring “Nature close to humans,” especially kids. As it’s my passion, I am definitely going to enjoy this journey of re-creating the Nature’s beauty the way it is (hence I call it Naturescape) in urban areas.
I am specialised in creating water gardens.
Experience :
- My journey in this career started as a DIY project in August 2016, in our 5’ x 11’ balcony where I created a self-sustainable ecosystem including a natural pond with fish, built using natural river rocks, surrounded by live plants and hanging vines, making it a bird-friendly environment.
- This was possible because of my 12-year research and observation skills in the field of creating ecosystems, natural habitats for birds, butterflies, many other species.
- I experimented in different ways to prove its sustainability, and made it a success. Our friends and neighbours wanted me to help them create one for them and there was a huge demand in the market and this new trend of “natural ponds” was introduced.
- In September 2018, I got my first commercial order and made it a success, of course I had some hurdles which managed to handle well.
- Completed my next project in November 2018.
- Then, with too many enquiries, about more than 100, it was time for me to setup a team. Meanwhile, I also completed few certifications. When it was all set, there was this COVID-19 outbreak and you can guess the rest.
- So, now, we are back again in a full throttle.
- At PlantsEra, we as a team are inclined towards sustainability in every single aspect. Our designs are made in such a way that it satisfies the client and at the same time there is no compromise on environmental sustainability.
About Our Logo
When I had this thought of creating our logo using maple leaf, I never knew it had so much meaning to it. It was like a calling.
Maple symbolizes balance, love, longevity and abundance. It also speaks of success, intelligence, generosity and practicality. Somewhere I read grace, great blessing, serenity of the elements and peaceful retreat and what not? I’ll take this as a blessing from Mother Nature and my mother.
Every color used in our logo is for a reason. Green, of course the color of Nature is green, so is PlantsEra. Topaz blue, citrine orange, and dark blue; I was told they are my lucky colors. But, when I studied color psychology for business, to my surprise, it turns out they all give so much meaning to the business as to what PlantsEra is all about.
There is a lot to each color. I just want to mention a few that relate to our business.
Green: Nature. Linked to stress relief, better impulse control, and improved focus. In spiritual terms, the color green implies beginnings, new growth, vibrant health, and other ideas connected with life, rebirth, renewal, and immortality.
Orange: Strongly associated with creativity. Optimism and energy. Orange ignites encouragement, excitement, and enthusiasm.
Topaz blue: Represents loyalty and righteousness. Associated with true love and trust.
Dark blue: Knowledge, authority, and reliability. Blue calls to mind feelings of calmness or serenity. It is often described as peaceful, tranquil, secure, and orderly. Blue is often seen as a sign of stability and reliability.
Embracing all the factors, it’s a perfect balance of all seasons with a hint of water element to balance everything and quench the thirst, altogether supporting our Planet to thrive.
Front yard Gardens:

A garden can be much more than just a visual treat. It can be a place to :
- Sit and relax after a day long hectic work schedule.
- Rejuvenate yourself.
- Have a cup of hot coffee, feels very special on a cloudy day.
- Have a chit chat with your loved ones.
- Could also turn out to be an idea factory; when your mind relaxes, excellent ideas and thoughts just flow through.
- A calm serene atmosphere, the right spot that would help in completing your long-pending book.
Lively Backyard gardens:
Own a piece of paradise in your own backyard. The first thing that comes to mind when we say backyard is a pond and a waterfall with addition of a stream, even the thought of it gives you such a pleasant feel. The main reason for that is the rhythm created by one such piece of beauty:
- The water rushing over the pebbles, gushing against the boulders and rocks, creating bubbles, reflecting the sunlight
- Fish in the pond
- Rhythm of breeze, moving trees and plants.
- The movement of water, our sight flows along with it
- The colors and fragrances of the beautiful blooms
- Aromatic herbs that’s always a part of our gardens
Watching the flowing water and the movement of the fish movement increases the blood flow to the heart and brain, which induces relaxation, also listening to the rhythm of Nature and the aromatic fragrances. A natural effective STRESS buster.
